>Its the same as bitcoin just private
Most coins including Zcash are forks of bitcoin with some minor changes it bolt ons. Monero is a completely different codesbase. Monero shares what I would consider bitcoin's breakthrough which is proof of work securing a public blockchain. Besides that core function there are lots of differences and the main one worth pointing out is the dynamic blocksize which is enabled by the tail emission and is therefore not possible with bitcoin. It's a big deal because it means monero can actually scale. For example even onboarding the world to lightning network on btc would take about 100 years with no other transactions taking place. In 2017 most of the stores that had been accepting btc dropped it because using the network for payments became basically impossible. Virtually nothing has improved for btc scalability since then so you can bet another bull run would be disastrous for bitcoin's credibility. Bitcoiners have already resorted to attacking anyone who actually uses bitcoin because it makes their ponzi look bad.

Zcash also uses btc emission curve which means it will have high inflation till 2030.
On the good side it's first halving is going to be synchronized with bitcoin so who knows what happens.

>>16782466
In hyperinflationary economies wages collapse in hard currency so those earning argentinean pesos will earn less and less in usd because wages collapse relative to usd due to inflation.

This forces governments to keep the cost of services absurdly low to prevent chimpouts since the problem is that wages are collapsing.

Every hyperinflationary economy ends up having services that cost literally nothing and foreigners are suprised of how cheap stuff are.
The problem is that services cost nothing because wages went so shit so much that people would not be able to pay more.

>>16782433
Hi based Esperanto anon, depends of what you want if you have a foreign income above 1000 usd you can live a higher middle class life , above 2000 usd and you live a richfag life.

That said the income should be in crypto , so you can convert it to btc and get into the country.
With credit cards it's no longer possible , shit's going to shit so fast that i may need to go to fucking uruguay to get my freelancing wages in an atm there due to how high fees(because they have never updated them for inflation).

And before someone says you just said you can use bitcoin , yea i can and i would even be able to earn a plus because it's traded at a premium here.
But i would need to move the money from paypal or foreign debit card to crypto and risking losing those accounts at a time when everything is going to shit, i have done it in small quanities but it's too risky to get your wages frozen by paypal because the fuckers did not liked your purchase.

It's another thing for foreigners living here that simply buy crypto with their foreign bank accounts and change those coins here for local currency.

OK I figured it out. ZCash annual inflation is actually only (ONLY!) 30%. They halved their block times last year and adjusted the rewards accordingly to maintain their emission curve. I guess they didn't tell anybody or no one cares. You'd think they could pay someone to stay on top of things like that.
