aroon is a pretty common indicator actually, so i have. also you should really be using the aroon up and down (the oscillator just gives you one line which is the difference between the up and down), it does more things than the oscillator.

it basically just tells you when you're forming new highs or new lows over a period of time. you didn't redpill me on bollinger bands yet which leads me to believe you don't know wtf you're talking about unfortunately, oh well was worth a shot to see if you'd tell me anything new.

im gonna back you up on everything except trading penny stocks (lowest i day trade is around $10, i usually prefer midcaps), but i'll give you a chance to redpill me on that shit. if you could actually explain your successful consistent strategy with penny stocks i'd really appreciate it.

obviously there is a lot of money to be made on "spikes", but they're also extremely unpredictable and you can lose a lot at the same time. im way WAY more consistent when stocks just quietly trend or range because that's why moving averages and indicators actually work, and i just scalp that shit on a tick chart over and over again. are you just getting lucky or do you have some method to the madness? the market can only trend, range, or spike, so it would be cool to be able to make money on all 3 instead of 2/3 like i do now. i make a consistent income so im interested in doing more high risk high reward plays potentially, originally i was thinking of putting a little money in several different penny stocks that i researched and felt had a good shot of going to the moon, betting on at least 1 making it successfully which would far outweigh the losses from the others.

one of the main reasons why despite religiously watching/reading all of NNFX's stuff i trade stocks and not forex, is because forex doesn't have supply/demand and the banks artificially move price. meanwhile stocks have intrinsic value and actual people move the price, even the algos that tutes use are coded by people to react to how people will react to what's happening. psychology plays a major role in where price goes and because human behavior is predictable in many ways, it makes price behavior predictable too.

go through any old chart and start from the first candle of the day and think of what trades you'd make, go candle by candle. it's a fun game.

i did during vacation, made around $80 off of $1k trades (couldn't trade some days cause holidays). im back at work now though. the goal is to be able to do it for a living by the end of 2020. im purposefully taking things slow. also it's an average, technically you could make 10% one day and lose 5% over the next 4 days and still wind up with 1% a day on average (or 5% a week). ideally with $20k trades instead of $1k trades.

yes, exactly. with day trading it's easier than longer term trades because you can just pick a random day on a random stock that fits your criteria (this is what stock scanners like finviz are for) and go through the day candle by candle on whatever intraday time frame you want to practice.

it's all patterns. you can't literally predict the future, you're just looking for what are called "high probability setups". "when a stock is under these conditions, there is a higher (hopefully much higher) chance of this happening instead of that" basically. like when you see some pattern it often means the stock is going to go up some amount from there. you also have to determine what your risk is (where you cut your losses when you're wrong, no matter how high the probability) and where you're going to exit the trade in profit.

i'll mention this too: there are a lot, a LOT, of "self fulfilling prophecies" in the stock market. support/resistance lines aren't magic lines, they work because everyone thinks they work. everyone is looking at those pivot points, and they think everyone else is looking at them too, which is why you'll so often see nearly perfect (sometimes completely perfect) lines at prices on charts where price seemingly can't go beyond for a while. same with macd or rsi, which should be on the default settings because again, it's what everyone else is using. herd mentality. it's why these patterns can even exist in the first place, because the market isn't random, it's just psychology at its core. it's why mark douglass says "people don't trade markets, they trade their beliefs in markets"

Yes that's usually how it starts, before you know it you will be a namefag shilling a penny stock in hope of it blasting off one day. I don't have the numbers, but I can guarantee you that the amount of people pretending to know what the fuck they are doing with penny stocks are 99.99% of the times failures a few months in. The most recent mass combined failure we saw was in 2018 when crypto altcoins pumped hundreds if not thousands of percentages in a few days. People thought they could FOMO in and end up being profitable forever, some time went by and boom, putting money into something a little too late and the stock (or in this case crypto) dumps by 40%+.
Seriously, what you're describing is the most stupid bullshit I always hear from people that just begun "trading". Some wipe their accounts clean instantly, some luck out and makes a nice profit but in the end they all end up scrubbing dirty high school floors at night for a minimum pay. Bitcoin is pretty much a 24/7 money printer for people with enough knowledge of how to actually trade and there's no way they would let such a beautiful thing go away. There's a reason it's so wide-spread now amongst banks aswell, it's so fucking easy to make money from bitcoin if you have an average knowledge of how to trade and I've even been told this buy a guy working at Citi.
In the entire crypto market as of today, the only things worth anything is Bitcoin (obviously), Ethereum (because rich people trading bitcoin uses it as an hedge to bitcoin when the market enters a downtrend), XRP (where the big boys goes to withdraw their money) and Monero (because it's untrackable). let's see. They have been a very solid company in the past that lost a huge part of the market due to bad decisions in the past but still managed to survive. Nokia entering the 5g development arena is good news, they have the resources and proper connections to make huge profits there. The whole of 5g business is blowing up right now, I've missed a couple investing opportunities on stonks that gave insane (over 80% in less than a year) profits, like SWKS due to to being too much of a pussy. It's still a risky bet due to legislation not being completely in place yet, but DYOR. I'd be willing to put some cash into nokia, but I don't want to be hodling for 2 years right now. The stock is dirt cheap and in a strong uptrend right now, however. I'd say go for it.

Except for special deals like compensation through stock options and employee equity plans, you shouldn’t be buying more stock of any company that would fuck you over if it went under.

If I worked for Ford I wouldn’t go out and buy their shares. I’d rather have McDonald’s or something because if the automarket collapses of Ford goes under, my investments and my job are shot.

But if Ford offers me shares at half price or something, that’s a different story. Same logic applies though, I’d want to be careful but definitely take advantage depending on how optimistic I am about the company’s future.

Take a look at any currency pair chart on the daily time frame (1day candles) and you will see. There is a ton of noise with lots of long wick fake outs up and down. If you were to trade off any of those fake moves, even if the move crossed a seemingly previously consistent support or resistance line, you would have lost money.

I should really find some data on how KO's Fairlife milk is doing, seems wildly more popular than any other brand at my local grocery. I think a lot of people are turned off by the low-class looking image DF projected onto their products, while not actually making them significantly cheaper than other more premium looking offerings.
I have a personal theory that people are turned off by milk's biological source these days, societal norms have trended towards sterility and I think many perceive cow milk (yuck, a smelly animal!) in an old plastic jug as somehow less "clean" than something like trendy opaque-packaged almond milk. Look at soft drinks, everyone's drinking lacroix over sticky, low-class, "dirty" soda.
