threads like these are why fantom and general good projects get a bad name. There is no evidence right now about btc being able to run on the bridge. Now, it will pass on the XAR mainnet that you will be able to use BTC as collateral for CSDT, but there's no proof or even mention about btc being able to run on our bridge. Also, when you mention the circulating supply halving, you are talking about staking and that much ftm being stack. A bold claim with no evidence to support it whatsoever. Andre himself is asking for 60% in 5 months from now, I'm calling bullshit you expect us to get to 50% in a couple days.

the 1B token burn would be if they implimented the CSDT model of staking into Opera. (CSDT is the staking model used for XAR's mainnet). But because they're using the current model, it will not be burned because OPERA stakings are paid out in that 1B ftm.

Locking up 50% of ftm is a goal set by the team. In order to access your ftm staking rewards *KEYWORD REWARDS* there is a 6 month period where you cannot access your fantom that is staked, otherwise you miss the chance to access your rewards you minted. It's either 6 months, or 80% of all ftm locked up into staking, reduced by 1% per week, whichever comes first.
