Why are there near zero threads on this board about physical assets. If you had a shred of common sense you would be expanding your horizon outside of bitcoin.
Hobby farming can generate income.
one flock of hens can generate eggs and meat for your family and you can sell the surplus out of the bed of your truck at the farmers market
Flipping antiques on craiglist/kijiji can generate 100 dollars a week
Flipping video games on craigslist/kijiji
Learn to repair PC's for old people

keep investing in crypto by all means to your hearts desire. don't quit your dayjob but
why don't we work together to brainstorm asset skills we can acquire that are practical and physical ON TOP of the crypto-monoculture that has made this board so boring.

All of those require hard work and a significant amount of time -- not exactly passive you brainlet

Anon, I believe this is not exactly "passive" income...

All my recent ideas for a small business failed when I really got to the core of it. Was thinking of bouncy castle rental but I don't have a big enough yard to clean them in. I figured out everything I'd need to start a vanilla extract business- no way to produce a bottle for less than $30 yet everywhere sells them for $25...what the fuck? I am hoping to come up with a good idea soon that will actually work.

Congratulations. You've unknowingly learned that in order to be competitive in first world countries you need to outsource your labor to third worlders.

This will only net you 5% return at most right? You're better off just getting ETFs on Vanguard.

Unfortunately it is only because of Canada's is retarded and makes it extremely difficult to start a business. I didn't even account for labour as I was planning to do all of it starting out. Vanilla is $550/pound which produces 33 bottles. Each bottle bought through unline is $1 even in bulk. That gets me to $17.50 before factoring in rent or anything in a location. Not bad but the tricky part is being compliant to be able to purchase commercial ethanol. Purchasing through the LCBO at consumer prices puts me out of business as vodka in Canadian consumer prices is more expensive than vanilla, and I am not allowed to buy directly from manufacturers. I just want to sell some fucking vanilla at the farmers market and help my family. I really hate my Country sometimes.

because those are just small side income that you have to put effort into. We are looking for gainz without effort. Work smart, not hard.

>passive

Anon that's not passive income. Also that's a lot of work for a low return.

Here's an analogue, tell me which one is active and which one is passive.
Option A
>You go out into the woods with bow and arrows to hunt deer for meat.
>You spend 4 hours searching before finding and killing a deer.

Option B
>You go out into the woods with several fox traps to catch them for fur.
>You spend an 45 minutes setting them up in various places before going home.
>You come back 5 days later and caught a few foxes.

Oh, you're from Ontario? Fellow Ontarian here. Yeah, you're fucked. Here in Ontario we love our legal cartels of nepotism. There is no way for you to be competitive without being born correctly. Hence all our politicians and our economy run on immigration.

Why can't you buy directly from manufacturers?

passively take it up the ol' butthole

Because you can only buy through expensive Canadian manufacturers. Overseas food/liquid items get seized by customs if they open your package.

Collect WWII weapons. My Mosin Nagant has doubled in value in 4 years.

Ignore the surface rust on the bolt, I need to get it refinished..
