the entire idea of "decentralized oracles" is bullshit. you either have to aggregate a set of sources and somehow determine consensus or just elect a decision maker. Voting? Text comparison/parsing majority? It's just a janky premise.

Wht is a good example of something that would be decided in a "decentralized" manner then written to an oracle contract for use on-chain?

Augur for instances makes people decide on an arbitrator ahead of time I think.

That aggregation of trust will initially be top down.
