We all know college is dumb retarded horseshit.
We all know the stats too... debt stats but also roi stats and job prospects...

but it really doesnt feel worth it. LONG story short, my ass was fucked. Retards lead me into the trades. As a result, I wasted time with a 2 yr degree in the electrical trade. Garbage. I make about the same as I currently do as a security guard for fucks sakes. I live in cali.
I have over 140 units. Probably closer to 150. Want to fucking drop so hard from burnout. Need 10 more fucking classes. 1 every 8 weeks so basically 80 more weeks. About 1.53 more years. I am 24.5. Wont graduate until 26... its business admin econ

Career goals.. loong story short I decided the only job I can imagine doing without killing myself is bullshit security stuff or being a 4th grade teacher (literally only job I can imagine doing with a BA).

I hate college, but let's be real. You dont actually need college to teach 4th grade and 4th grade material is easy as shit. Needing a 4 yr degree for this is just a bullshit requirement they throw in there to make it seem more "prestiges". Joke system.. Anyways, realistically I graduate at age 26, but then I need about another fucking year for the teaching credential. SHIT. So I will be 27 by the time I can start a job that doesnt make me want to die... Idk, I read online. Supposedly it can even take 1.5 to 2 years for the teaching credential.. and it costs 5-6k meaning I'd have 20-21k in debt... (all in btc. Fuck "paying it off as I go").

Is it even fucking worth it if teaching is LITERALLY the only "real" job I can tolerate?
Also, I would graduate with 15k debt for the BA. Not sure

For any of you under 18 that are on this board (fuck jannies), do the 1st 2 years of college BEFORE turning 18 and FUCK ap tests. They are harder than college classes. The older you get, the less likely you are to complete this retarded bullshit.

also note a bachelors is 120 units. Holy shit I basically have 5 years of schooling but only have a 2 yr degree. I should note my life is extra fucked than the average person which contributed to this fuckfest.

Maybe, but it's pretty piss easy to teach 4th grade and it pays what I'd want incase btc doesn't work out (I mean, I'm pretty bullish it will go to 100k and eventually long long long term to a mil). Plus I feel I could actually genuinely find some intrinsic value to it. Like to wouldnt feel like bullshit fluff (I dont see elementary is crap). I dont like working for for-profits.

cuz it sucked massive nuts. Construction and residential work is ass. Only railroad companies are good but they have high barrier to entrys. It was a waste of time. In cali (Im mot moving), pay is shit. 14 an hr start. After 3 years, 18 an hr. Journeyman? 25 an hr and their jobs are the embodiment of STRESS. Not even 1% worth it. Might as well stick to security and hope for a government job.

Also, only unions pay electricians well (like 20 start and 47 an hr cap). I actually got in one, but again, construction is ass and the money was not worth it. Most depressing job ever

Seriously tho, I have until the 1st to decide. I think I will drop.. I mean 44% of 22-27 yr old college grads are underemployed and 1/4 are doomed to make highschool wages even with a bachelors. I expect nothing as I always get shit luck from life so I'll probably just focus on security and buy btc. Maybe margin trade... but I might hold off on that until the halving
