How big is your emergency fund and for how many weeks/months/years will it last if you needed it?

You do have an emergency fund in an easy-access cash account, right?

>£12k GBP
>6 months

$350

It would pay the phone bill for a month

6 months if I don't change habits, 10 months in a true Shits Fucked situation

of course dear anon, my rainy day fund is in the safest wallet of them all, and would last me 2 whole weeks

>> No.16667622

> € 5k (1k cash, 4k bank)
> About 6 months worth with current lifestyle (cheap EU country). Could last longer probably.

this.

Also, I don‘t have an emergency fund. I don‘t care what personal finance blogs tell me how many months of funds I have to get eaten by inflation and negative interest (EU here)

That fund could save your life one day (or someone elses). Makes sense to hold some unless you are ok with getting into fat interest debt
