>Student: Ok. Well will you now answer my first question. Why does the rest of the cryptocurrency world hate BSV so much?
>Master: I will answer. There are two reasons.
>The first reason is this. It is a threat to them. If BSV succeeds, by necessity, it will take value away from the other coins. If you own BTC, and BSV on-chain scaling actually works just like Satoshi originally stated all those years ago, then your coin BTC will go down in purchasing power. Many of those who are all in on BTC for whatever reason know that BSV succeeding is an existential threat to their wealth.
>Student: They don’t say this. They say it’s a joke that will die and go to zero.
>Master: Why don’t they say this about Songcoin?
>Student: What is Songcoin?
>Master: A project that actually died and went to zero.
>Student: I’ve never heard of it.
>Master: The BTC advocates focus so much on BSV, rather than all the projects that are actually failing, for a good reason. If BSV actually was a joke, just like Songcoin, they would pay it the same mind they pay Songcoin; zero.

Shame. BTC maximalism is the most basic bitch of all the crypto archetypes.
>>16667087
He comes into every BSV thread specifically to countershill by pretending some private blockchain "solution" is in any way meaningful. I think he is genuinely stupid and/or scared because you don't see the same countershilling elsewhere, which is exactly the point you miss.
Say whatever you want, the fact that the back and forth over BSV has been sustained for this long - longer than any other coin except maybe LINK, which is a special case - is meaningful in a way that makes people like you uncomfortable. Basic psychology suggests that BSV would have faded away by now if it was just another pump and dump, yet here we are.

i was not a btc maxi for a long time. i only became one when we were starting to drown in the sea of pointless shitcoins in 2017. you can't even evaluate project by their actual merits anymore as shilling in social media became the primary weapon in their arms race.
>Basic psychology suggests that BSV would have faded away by now if it was just another pump and dump, yet here we are.
i will give you that anon it's pretty obvious that calvin actually put his money where his mouth is. i have no doubt how it all ends nevertheless. the fundamentals of sv are shit. the value proposition is retarded. no amount of shilling and memeing can correct that.

Well at least this we can agree on. Proof of social media needs to go.
>calvin actually put his money where his mouth is
In terms of mining, yes. "Paid shills" not so much. It's not necessary since there are enough passionate real people who will do it for free. "All BSVers are jeets" is a cope.

It actually IS meaningful, you deluded moron. It's a massive improvement over traditional accounting. Now consider that private DLTs can interact, exchange data with each other and form a single global network - and voila! No institution or enterprise needs public meme chains, especially junk like BSV.

Good. I probably don't have as much experience on this godforsaken planet as some other anons, but one thing I've noticed is that when what I'm doing triggers angry little faggots like you, I'm on the right track. This is doubly true for crypto, where buttcoiners have been wishing death on people like me since the start of this decade.

You sound okay, fren. Even though I don't agree that the scaling proposition of BSV is a "garbage dump," you have the right attitude. I also hold coins on all three chains, weighted towards BCH/BSV, and can't wait to see how this multi-year drama ends. Hope we both make it.

You will never find proof of paid BSV shills.

People have always been interested in big blocks because there are more use-cases. I dont mind fees, I'll pay $1 to send some BTC but when you get into sub-cent fees you can start to do really interesting things and make bitcoin a lot more private since you can have dozens of inputs and outputs for each transaction going to several different pubkeys and it will still cost less than a cent total.
