Looks like a giant fuckup in the making. Phase 0 will still have two tokens. But they won’t be liquid so we might manage to sidestep the instigation of two markets for beacon ether and eth1 ether.
In the meantime nothing is delivered on schedule and money is running out. Patience from investors is also running out and competitors seem to be more than catching up

ETH was done with the ICO bubble. It barely holds since the miners and fanboys won't let it die. But there is no demand for it, development is a cluster fuck and there are competitors getting close each day.

This proposal will allow for a much earlier transition to full PoS which will reduce the issuance rate to 1% - 2%. Vitalik also confirmed that this change won't delay any development
