Pi network has spent 10,000 Pi towards the purchase of a domain name.
This is huge!

Fuck 10k for a damn domain name? Is PI coin near worthless then??? Domains are cheap as fuck.....

It went from literally worthless to something. Don't be a f a g.

>> No.16624260

It's gone from less than 1K miners to 1.25M active engaged miners!
That's growth! You will be late to the party
Pizza is pretty cheap! 10K Bitcoins for a pizza??? Think about it.

This shit will be worth something and you fags still regret it.

Domain valued at 100$ bought with 10k pis.

That means 0.01$ per pi in the first thing bought with it.

It will only rise from here. Keep crying for not being in since the beining folks

Clarifying some disinformation that is often being spread in threads like this:
>Pi is not mined by app users, it is a pre-mined token
>The App does consume miniscule amounts of power, approx 1-5 cents a year, depending on local prices
>though often implied, the size of the group whose member's code you use is irrelevant to your bonus (inviter gets +0,25 per invitee; invitee becomes a new inviter; repeat ad infinitum), "join the X number of us" is a misleading phrase since you will ever only be connected to one person in the group, the inviter.
That being said: Pi is an interesting project, it is "free" money since token value can not be 0.00 $ and power consumption is negligible. Halving steps for artificial scarcity are being executed faithfully so far. Thus, the sooner you get in the more you can gain. Nobody knows where Pi will go once it hits exchanges but it's as good a shot as any obscure shitcoin.
If you are interested and appreciate transparency use invite code:

Pi has a very smart mostly white team, and their network is growing. Stay mad, haters. Should have joined back when you could make 100+ pi a day all by yourself

On most exchanges most likely, except probably the really big ones like coinbase. Not yet though, exchanges are planned for Q3 2020 but this is a good thing since it gives you time to accumulate.
As of now, you can buy Pi futures on AAcoin though for 0.15$, pic related.
Obviously there's no guarantee that the project will succeed but since there are no risks involved you might as well get a stack.
Use code MakroMakro if you want to give it a shot.

>> No.16626570

Good for you, but how did that happen? To get to 3k a substantial amount of shilling must have been required. I can't really picture a married person strolling around the office cubicles during coffee break and getting people to sign up to some weird app pyramid scheme. Because that's exactly what Pi looks like on first glance.
I was pretty sure that the Pi base consists mostly of bots, alcoholics, the unemployable and angry loners...

If your coin doesn't have a wallet address and a Github for other people to improve the development of pi, then it's obviously a scam.

You can not be scammed if you do not make an investment. The devs can not sell their supply unless they put Pi on exchanges. Simple as that.
Maybe the project will collapse or your 10k Pi stack will peak at 10$ before Pi bleeds into obscurity like Electroneum did. But there is no scenario where you come out with a net loss besides the data theft allegations which are far-fetched and impractical. Why do you want to see Pi fail so badly?

You realize that you sign over complete access to all your personal information that is located on your phone to every single commercial application you install, right? You're not wrong, it's just that it has become the standard operating procedure of the entire industry.

2. no smart contract safety

Sorry. No coin has EVER taken this long to get on mainnet since it's the most simplest thing to do in phase 1 of a coin.

Fucking Banano got on mainnet less than 2 weeks. That should say a lot.

You only need to do it if you want to add people from your contacts in the security circle.

If you only keep people from your earning team in the security circle you don't need to do it.

I stopped "mining" this shitcoin after they announced you need to provide them KYC to turn your meaningless numbers on the app into actual holdings on a blockchain wallet. Requiring KYC for an exchange is one thing, but requiring it just to hold a coin in the first place is absurd, and goes against the entire ethos of crypto. I can't wait for this centralized shitcoin to fail.
