I don't know how many oldfags remember, but there have been a significant number of posts claiming that the reddit account /u/smartcontract is Sergey. Importantly (and why I'm making this post), this account made a really cringy comment on /r/selfie about 10 months ago complimenting some attention-seeking roastie. This comment has since been deleted. I am making this post to clear Sergey's name.

The account /r/smartcontract has a non-empty bio. See pic-related. Listed in the bio are two other reddit accounts: /u/bitcoinmines and /u/smoothiee. Without getting into autistic-level details, the writing styles in these three accounts are congruent. Safe to conclude that these three accounts belong to the same person. Further, the last comment made by /u/smoothie was around the time the time the account /u/smartcontract was created.

I will post screenshots below of comments made by /u/smoothie that do not fit Sergey's profile.

Probably the least compelling evidence, but I think it's fair to conclude it. I don't believe Sergey has any siblings. 4chan autists would have found pictures of them by now (note thread with pic of Sergey's mother and father still up).

It’s truly magical to me that newfags are also captivated by Sergey, even though they are missing so many large pieces of the puzzle. They live on hope while only the few who saw one of the first chainlink threads “know”. Yes, Sergey used to be called Alexei.
