Calling this a scam is unfair, because all the mechanics are pretty clear and documented.

That being said, so far nobody is in a position where their bag is profitable. By my calculations, only 5 btc worth of coins were traded at a profit on bidesk, and that was mostly in the early days. The BTC freeclaim pays scraps, and is only there as a marketing tool and a cop out for shills so they can lie they havent bought any hex, and only claimed. If you claim 1 bitcoin you get 9k hex that are locked for a year, and 1k that you can sell. Last I checked this amounts to 10k sats. Which is almost nothing, and will be worth even less in a year. Lastly, ICOs usually promise to do something with the money deposited to them, but Richard did no such thing, and the adoption amplifier funds go directly into his yacht fund, I believe there's 60k or so eth there right about now?

If knowing this you're happy to purchase hex, then go right ahead.
