I got an email from a recruiter for a job that pays 30 an hour. I make 20 an hour and will be making 22 in a few months, and eventually I will make 30

What does biz consider when job hopping? The wage is so tempting but I have a great schedule and would probably have to work dumb ass 3rd shift again and be in line for a day shift job for the rest of my life. I’m on day shift and comfy, everything is comfy but my pay mediocre (amazingly there are places that pay lower but only cucks would accept that

There are plenty of places where I could get a significant raise but my schedule is so good and I’m lucky because at this company in other departments doing the same thing people are going to have to wait 5-10 years to have a chance at day shift.

an email from a recruiter is just that.... a fucking email. it's an invitation to apply retard. they are sent out en masse, not because you're special and have a foot in the door. apply if you want to. you still have to go through the interviews the same as you would if you applied directly to the job posting. the difference is just that the recruiter gets a commission if the candidate he reached out to first ends up getting the job.

that said, if you think you can make more money working somewhere else then you should be actively looking for that somewhere else. there's no reason to get comfy anywhere. you should always be looking for a better job.

I get 3-4 recruiter emails a day and the occasional phone call. this is down after months of blocking numbers and email addresses. they are 99% pajeets and every job they want to sell me on is out of state or a shitty contracting gig. it's legit making me racist having these fuckers spam me so god damn much. big mistake I made uploading my resume to the wrong job board.

I got an interview but they asked me to bring something (didn't quite catch what the caller said) with me from my last job. Thing is, I worked as a trainee at a retail store and got both some negative and positive feedback on certain things but overall it's something I'd rather not want to show. How do I weasel my way out of this one?
