how do you spend your time?

do you read? draw? play music? what do you do each day? I'm wanting to get into a better daily routine, so that I can be a better man.

I wake up at about 8am. I do my best to make sure things are picked up and orderly, and I might try to do one quick chore like cleaning the bathroom or kitchen or just sweeping up a bit. I go to work for 12-13 hours in a restaurant. I get home and I might smoke a cigar with my brother and I drink some whiskey. I go to bed.

I used to beat myself up trying to get a better morning routine going, and reading at night and stuff, but it never stuck. The whiskey is sticking and I should probably give it a rest. I really want a better routine, but sometimes it takes everything in me just to maintain and keep up appearances and not let the yardwork fall behind. So I'm interested to hear what some of you do every day, especially if you work crazy hours, I wonder how many of us still find time to do scholarly things, exercise, maybe even some crafty shit like woodworking

I struggle to see them as anything other than an emotional and monetary drain which is a pity because those pure romances in novels and shit sound really comfy. This is what I've felt as well. It was nice having sex easily and daily but after a while it just got incredibly dull. I know it isn't really related to the current topic so my apologies to OP but /biz/ just feels like a good place to talk about this. Where do you anons fall in regards to copying the habits of successful people? If you read for 6 hours a day like Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger do, are you going to end up learning things that help you become a better investor like them, or is the reason why reading 6 hours a day is profitable for them simply because they're already rich as fuck and can afford the time and have the capital to exploit whatever knowledge they glean?
I've started questioning this ever since that superpajeet Naval said that he doesn't keep a schedule, he might have the luxury because of his silicon valley money to work at his leisure according to his own schedule, but I sure as hell can't: i miss out on jobs, jobs I need to survive.
