it depends on the number and the condition, early series numbered bitcoin which have been mostly held and not transacted will be most desirable. More recent bitcoin or coins which have seen a lot of use will be worth roughly half what a mint coin will command.

bitcoin being divisible to 8 decimals means that percentage gains are much more important than absolute #s.
absolute #s don't matter
even 6 digit btc is possible at today's dollar trading volumes with enough grinding and manipulation. there's a lot of potential bull catalysts.

Bear case: an exchange exit scam would hurt but an exchange hack would be even more painful. government bans bitcoin. the mt gox trustee market sells again. but i think it would bounce back from all of these. i don't know if anything short of an emp will kill bitcoin though.
