Of course. Bitcoin was not ment to spread wealth to the first world however. The earliest adopters have been impoverished countries with high crime, I believe this was actually by design, I believe certain organizations pushed the use of bitcoin in the criminal underground before it took off entirely on purpose. So we will get rich, but we will see our communities suffer in a plethora of ways.

bitcoin is not money. it's wealth storage and wealth transfer system. that's all it is. what will likely happen in the future is credit cards will be issued and they will be backed by bitcoin. the "money" that exists now is mostly digital anyway so transitioning to this new system will be simple.
