For liquidity and staking purposes. Is there any risk?

Use the Coinbase hot wallet. It gives you control of your keys and has good backup tools. I would recommend NOT linking your CB hot wallet to your CB account until you're ready to sell. If your account balance is over a certain amount, you're bound to get a notice from the IRS.

Don't store anything on coinbase unless you can get verified to level 2. For non US people it's almost impossible to get verified. If you can't get verified to level 2 all your money will get stuck there until the ned of time. I recommend kraken and binance.

I store 50% of my linkies on kraken, and 50% on binance. It's super easy to get verified on kraken to the level where you can cash out 15 million dollars per month. On coinbase level 1 you can cash out max 10k per day (possibly lower per month).

This. Only use Coinbase if you’re a good goy that wants to give 50% of his profits to the IRS

If you are seriously considering ducking the IRS when you owe them a significant amount and when your fucking name SSN and ID are on the exchange you are fucking retarded.
