People talk nonstop about "productivity", "being productive". But really, what is there even left to "produce" at this point? From where I stand, any money being made at this point is just surplus capital changing hands from one pointless task to another. People making more money LARPing about the shit they do in ebooks and podcasts than actually doing it, that sort of thing.

"Productivity" just seems like a higher level of cope in this context. Making a life's purpose out of Sisyphean toil.
