I think it's safe to buy now. That little gap you see from last week is from phase 2b result being pushed into January instead of December. This is the second delay. The last one was bought very quickly(the gap before). I shilled it that time too but no one listened.

NVDA looks to test 225-228 resistance zone. I don't think it has the momentum to break through just yet. Nonetheless, cheap weekly calls for strikes 215 or 220 are attractive here. Easy triple+ bagger if it makes the move monday or tuesday.

TTD looks like it wants to head down for awhile before making another attempt above 250. I expect a half-hearted move up into the 250s Monday with a rejection. Probably a good opportunity to buy 240 puts. I'm currently still long a 265 call, but looking to dump and flip.

AMRN priming for another go at 24/25. I think it hits.

AMZN keeps faking me out. Sideways chop is pissing me off. Every time I'm out it decides to move up finally. Can't determine if it is weak and ready to collapse below 1700 or ready to go for a run past 1800. Seasonally it is overdue for a couple weeks of green, but ultimately I think the stock is bearish with a downside of 1300-1400 in 2020.

CRSP wants to break its ATH. It closed the week right beside it. Monthly chart looks bullish. I'm calling for 100 as long as the biotech sector remains strong in December. Buyout target. Jan 17 20 85 calls are relatively inexpensive at around 1.30 mark. Wide spreads and semi illiquid market though.

LCI looks good for a steady move toward 16 over the next 2 months. Upward trending channel has formed. I wouldn't use options on this, long stock instead.

SHOP seems 400 is inevitable. This one pisses me off after the orange faggot derailed my amazing entry on a 340 call tuesday morning. Paniced (correctly in the case of my other holdings) and dumped it....missed out on a 4x. Fuck your faggot trade war gayness.

I'm noticing two large factions trying to get you to LOSE MONEY lately.

1. Zerohedge. It's everywhere. I visited /pol/ for a little recon lately and I'm running across a lot of zerohedge articles. Also, people talking about how precious rocks are the only real money. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.

2. Canadians. In this very thread, there are shills trying to get your money out of the US stock exchanges and invest into shitty canadian companies. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. Their employment numbers were disastrous and their economy is faltering. They want to get YOUR money into THEIR system so they can skim it through taxes and pump up the value of their companies.

>>16492728
It didn't have to be this way.
This is the future you chose.
You didn't listen.

And now you refuse to admit when you're wrong, so you will continue to lose money. Sometimes it is best to sell into any strength and reposition at a loss. If you tried to HODL during the weed or crypto bear markets, you learned this the hard way.

I feel like a double may be out of the question since there are already so many folks expecting FDA final rubber stamp incoming. If you want KRTX tier moves you need unexpected results/approvals.

I think we will be lucky to get over 30 with the final FDA approval. 40s will require a buyout. I'm happy to be wrong, though--just means more money in my bags.

Just don't hinge everything on AMRN doubling, because there is a high chance it won't, at least not without time. It is one that I'm apprehensive about holding options instead of stock, but I don't love it enough to want to put in a lot of cash...would rather risk $1k in options, nearly guarantee a solid 4 or 5x, and be real happy if it turns into a $25k lotto.

AMRN will hit $30 after FDA approval. I agree though, hitting $40 will take buyout and I’m not convinced buyout will only be like $35 a share or something...although Amarin did spend years and a fuckton of money for this Vascepa study and it finally all paid off with amazing results, so they may be stubborn and make sure they get a $25-30 billion+ buyout depending how wide the labelling is.

AMRN can stick a gun in Big Pharma's face after Dec and say we want $50 per and they'd most likely get it. Why? Profit pure and simple. To much on the table to just let a small company keep it all. Unique method for disease modification for alzheiemers. Pti-125 binds to a pathologically modified form of a filamin a. This prohibits amyloid beta to bind into various receptors and mess up everything.

They had 100% response rate for biomarkers in a single month in phase2a. Phase2b results next year will have cognitive functions as secondary endpoints, which i believe will be met. Along wih soluble amyloid and tau, the drug reduces inflammatory markers as well, that should have cognitive benefits.
No one else could provide results like this so far.

Sure. Just keep in mind the patterns involving three or fewer candles are hocus pocus and rarely work unless it's a long time frame like monthly candles. Most important candles to take note of are dojis as they signal uncertainty. Uncertainty doesn't mean anything other than tread extra careful with that stock at the time. For instance, say my indicators (I trade an indicator system) are telling me to buy. The daily candle going in to power hour looks like +. If I see that I'm going to wait until the following day for clarification of the situation.

The book jap candle sticks mentions that "You'll get a different flavor" when you read the book again. Don't go rushing into trading the moment you read something that might be useful in trading. Go through the book and take notes (also take notes when you trade for real). I'd rank the new trading for a living above jap candlesticks in terms of useful info. But they're all very good.

I beg to differ, as on the 1d it works well and even lower. It's also alot about timing and figuring out if the direction you chose is correct. One take away from " The new trading for a living" is looking at a time frame that is 5X your favorite time frame that you look at. (for example if you like looking at the 1d, look at the 1 week first before looking at the 1d to see if they follow the same trend on western indicators and candlesticks.

No, I think that's probably a foolish strategy. There's no reason to apply a rule across the board of selling after a 20% gain. Doing so will cripple your gains on really big winners. Likewise, automatically selling after a 10% loss will keep you out of some good but volatile investments, where prices may fluctuate by much more than 10%, and force you out before the stock has a chance to recover and deliver you any returns.

Posting in a zombie thread to say:

Stop gambling so much of your money on the small time pharmas and biotechs that are looking desperately to be bought out.

There’s big money to be made on the acquirers. These companies often have much better management and many drugs in their pipelines, and can make use of all sorts of combinations of therapies to pimp the shit out of their drugs. And they pay you nice growing divvies.

Basically, get on the MRK train, and grab yourself some BMY too.

Should also note that i don't have a good track record trading the natty. I made one really awesome trade on it in 2016 and have since only made little bit or lost a little bit on brief swing attempts. Will probably try to trade the rebound off this leg down if it looks doable.

Powell spooks the market every time, except once or twice. He doesn’t want to say that he’s going to keep pumping liquidity into the market, which is THE important factor. Trade shit and recession concerns are the real nothing burgees.

What's a good way to learn stock market investing that'll make easy money? Bogglehead doesn't help since I'm looking for a stock that will go up by a third in a month.

High yield REITs. Their high yield by definition and people fled to them in 09 to shelter the storm.
