again dont try to work in retail security (maybe a walmart where you just stand in front of a door or near the entrance the whole day). For the most part, the chill jobs are not retail. Just saying some of these jobs are fucking chill and you will make about the same as other low skilled wagies (cashiers, etc.).

I went the nursing route thinking I could handle three nights a week but it's becoming a struggle. Burnout is real, that's about all I have to say for it. Looking to get a PRN job where I can just work 5 nights in a row and then have the rest of the month off. Basically just enough to cover rent for my 2br2ba apartment, utilities, and a little extra for going out. From there it's waiting for link to moon. Once I switch to a new company I will probably work feel time a little longer to get the place just right. Throw out all the furniture and replace with authentic mid century modern pieces.
If only the towns near me had a nice 3 bed 2ba house near the stores instead of shit suburbs. That's worth mortgaging and I could really go to town. Rip everything out, paint walls white, wood floors, all stone bathroom, just spend a year renovating my little neet hideaway. After doing my five and house projects done I can just play in the garden, workout in the garage gym, and tinker on the garage workbench. I love my projects but hate my jobs.

go get a passive job like security guard or librarian, that pays, and put that money into trading crypto. do not hold any asset as crypto market is too volatile, it is a haven for traders but hell for hodlers.

then develop your own trading strategy. Since you are a noob, figure out how to be on the bull team. Your enemy is the bear team. You need strategy because this is war. my grandparents just died at around 89 and 93 years old respectively, and my parents (late 50s) just inherited my grandparents house/money (little under $1M)

Reality is that by the time my parents die, it'll be another 40 years, and they'll have squandered most of their own inheritence.

I'll be lucky to inherit anything before I'm 60, and it'll probably be like $100k if that, which by that time won't even cover a downpayment on a dilapidated "fixer-upper"

Nursing has a pretty serious shortage. One of my side jobs will cancel me now and then but if I sign up for a shift at the big downtown one they never cancel. 5 days would be 60 hours that week, but you can figure good 30 minutes extra each shift just because you have to get there early and leave a bit late between shift report, preshift safety huddle, and staying over to finish documenting. I just need insurance since I'm about to get married or I'd have done this months ago with my no benefits per diem job. Southeast US has low cost of living but medical still pays well enough. $40-50/hr depending on the type of position you get. They make you earn it though, nurses put up with a lot of shit. The flexibility is a bigger perk than the wages as I feel underpaid. Then again I'm an entitled millennial so Ill always feel underpaid.
