I’ve been going to coin shops and all I see is mountains of silver. No gold, they say they don’t have any. Are we getting played to buy up the over abundance of silver? I swear there’s more silver than aluminum laying around.

Funny situation. You can buy gold RIGHT NOW as it’s all time high and you’re gonna be rich in 10 years anyway. You can also buy silver as it’s pretty low right now, and due to it being so explosive, you’re gonna be rich eventually. Add to that the electric car market, a new space race to Mars in the next decade and even more technology around us... safe to say NOW is the time to exchange your funny paper money for a real wealth.

I only wish silver was easier to keep. How the fuck do you manage 15 kilo of shiny metal around the house...

Silver will be tricky, my friend. It can explode beyond our wildest dreams in our lifetime (due to electrical cars, more advanced smartphones and solar panels on every rooftop) or it can bubble to 50 for a week and then go back to 20 for a few decades.

I'd say buy both silver and gold, have high hopes for gold, but monitor silver closely too.

This. I believe in progress. I believe that in the future everyone will want a self-driving electrical car. Everyone's gonna be surrounded with technology to unimaginable levels. We're talking smart houses, smart streets, smart cities. Solar panels everywhere and all that.

Silver will make us all rich. Sure, we'll have to patiently wait till then, maybe even 20+ years.

I'm also convinced that they will try to "grab" most of our silver with artificially increased prices first. Many will fall for it and sell, I wager 200$ per ounce or more. Only a few years later the real show will begin. Silver will be equal with unimaginable wealth, they will turn our Planet upside down to find more. A few generations later they'll do anything to finally start mining asteroids.

But that's not our generation's problem. I'm 30 years old, if I can retire a millionaire when I'm 56 that's a great deal if you ask me.

BUY SILVER YOU RETARDS, IT'S DIRT CHEAP. THERE IS NO WORST CASE SCENARIO HERE.

Platinum is already being replaced industry-wise. Psychology-wise, gold and silver will always mean wealth. Platinum is just a novelty, that's what I think at least.

Nonetheless, I have a single platinum coin just in case. Same with BitCoins, I have 1 and that's enough. I'm trying to keep ONE of everything I'm not planning to invest into for real. Just in case it reaches some ridiculous value in the future for any bizarre reason.

In the end, you never know. It pays to be prepared. But the potential is in gold and silver for me, it beats BitCoins due to being EMP-immune.

No Capital Gains Tax on Queen’s coins. VAT 20% still applies to all 999.9 Silver, it won’t cut you as deep as CGT, but still.

Gold is both VAT and Capital Gains Tax free. Think about it, you only pay for the mineral and a pocket change for the minting and transportation.

Almost as if the laws are written by those, who will benefit the most out of them.
