I am a 20 year old Canadian philosophy major. I have 110k CAD in chainlink, 13k CAD in the bank and I make around 15k CAD a year.

You've convinced me of a recession mid-late 2020, yiel curve, unemployment rate, corporate profits vs valuation, real estate bubble, stock market bubble, Deutsche bank collapse, etc.

Now for the question: how the fuck do I profit from this. Bitcoin will probably increase after the halvening, chainlinks singularity will probably be a pseudo-black swan event like the Google announcement. How do I make money in a recession it's my first one? Buy
some heavy metals? Short the market? I'm retarded pls help

Minimize expenses and maximize cash holdings. During the downturn, you want to be out-of-the-market (or shorting, but this is riskier) so you don't lose capital. Then you start buying cheap assets 2-3 quarters after the recession is declared in order to maximize gains on the upswing. Look at the charts from 2008 and tell me 2009-10 wasn't a brilliant time to acquire assets like foreclosed houses.
