Post your net worth /biz/.

The only reason I'm saving so much cash is to buy a Model Y when that comes out with cash. I'm hoping I won't have to finance by then.

I'm 28 with a $85k income. The loan is on my condo. I could pay it off but I'm really wanting to pay cash on my next car.

You can get financing for a rate lower than inflation, ie anything less than about 2%, in which case they are technically paying YOU interest to buy their car.

>> No.16426622

>>16426587
Wouldn't that only matter if interest payments were made annually and not monthly? Plus the lowest rate I've ever found was around 3.4% and my credit score is around 810

Interest quoted for an auto loan is an annual rate not monthly. If your loan is 1% then it’s 1% per year. Now, it probably compounds monthly which makes it slightly more than 1% in actuality but it’s not enough to matter.

You won’t get a rate that low buying used but car companies routinely have promotional offers of 0%, 1% or 2% financing if you have good credit and put money down. If you buy used it won’t ever be that cheap but you make up for paying more interest by finding a good deal on the car itself.

About $10k-$12k at 32 with a minimum wage job and a side business generating 2000$/month.
Consider yourself blessed anon, even if 200k is not a lot, you are definitely in the upper echelon of society.

There are few people I know who's networth in their 30's even goes past the $50k, some of them are down close triple digit debt.

What's your side business? Maybe try to make that full-time if your main gig is minimum wage.

Hardware repair, refurbishment and export at decent profit margins.
Lucky to have connections which supply me with a monthly inflow of products.

That's the plan! Contract at my current job runs until March, end of March I am traveling abroad to go look for a cheap storefront. If by that time I remain profitable I should have some investors too. I am really hoping it kicks of because I am quite tired and pissed of from wagecucking.

I'm 28 too
I make a little more than you, maybe about the same after taxes
I have a house, not a condo, so my debt and property numbers are a little higher. my investment number is also higher :p
