Even if you stored in a bank the back could never print more gold to make your gold useless. If the bank tried to loan your gold to a retard and lost all of it, the moment you try to collect, the bank would go bankrupt and the government wouldn't be able to print more gold to bail it out. You lost all your gold because you trusted a bank and the bank has been fucked.
In essence the economy would become normal again. The idea however that the value of gold would not inflate is false. There are less people alive today meaning more gold per person in shrinking economies as it should be.
