I'm new to chainlink, I've turned a blind eye to it ever since I've heard about it, but, I am ready for a change of heart. If anyone is actually going to explain to me why they recommend buying chainlink(not a complete cryptoretard, so don't hesitate) I will be more than glad to listen.

I did, I still don't see it.

Once this shit works I can think of numerous times I'd use it personally. Sergey talks about the potential for smartcontracts to replace any digital agreement.

I just found this link listing 44 ways to enhance smart contracts with chainlink. I've been researching all morning and it seems pretty legit. You have anywhere I can read up more about chainlink smart contracts?

I wasn't counting querying eth prices as working. I'm talking development and enterprise smart contracts available. Not going to spoonfeed but there is a lot more you can do than just query ETH price with this shit. Probably said too much already but half this board holds it anyway so who cares. Hope the dip is long and hard though.

WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER

DO NOT UNDER ESTIMATE THE POWER OF POSITIVE THOUGHT! ESPECIALLY COLLECTIVE POSITIVE THOUGHT!

THIS SHIT IS GOING TO REACH $1,000 EASILY!
HOLD THAT THOUGHT AND VISUALIZE IT IN YOUR MIND EVERYDAY AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE STARTING NOW AND IT WILL MANIFEST INTO REALITY. DO IT! I'M NOT JOKING!

VISUALIZE AS OFTEN AND AS DETAILED AS POSSIBLE!

Anyone who tells you they know what the price will be is kidding themselves. Basically just stock up on it, watch the hype and sell when all the normies get in. could be a decade from now, nobody knows. Half this board fuds it only to try and induce others to sell, so they can buy more lower.

I believe you've pushed me over the fence, and if this does pay out, thank you in advance. Just buy and hold until normies get in? That's right about the peak?

That second guy was being sarcastic. /biz/ is kind of esoteric, you are going to get eaten if you don't learn the game here. The people saying they are selling aren't even selling half the time here. Most of this shit isn't what it seems.

Yes, LINK will probably be worth a lot if it gets built. It's not a revolution in itself but is one part of what will likely be a global revolution in finance and automation.
There was a cool mockup a year or so ago, of an automated worker contract. Like an automatically generated contract for someone joining a new company. You agree to $X at the hourly rate and it's processed automatically. Docusign is already on board with LINK to allow for digital signatures in agreements like that. You might not hear the term LINK but you will almost certainly hear the term smartcontract in the future. Middlemen in offices process paper agreements now, but slowly everything goes more and more digital. LINK is the backbone of a new kind of digital agreement.
