Have you ever spoken with someone who owns a tesla? Their advantage is that their consumerbase is as cultish as their stock owners. I was chatting with a guy the other night who owns a model 3. He blurted out, a surprise to his wife, that he had immediately paid the deposit for the cybertruck. He adores his car, he adores its software updates, he adores that it gets better mileage now than when he bought it. He literally offered to let me test drive it, because he is that much of a tesla evangelist. And this is what it's like talking to all of them. The time to short Tesla will be when Elon moves on, because it is a cult of personality and that's all it really takes.

The last several years legislation has slowly been approving bail-ins for many of Deutsche's toxic assets, so this is very plausible.

Their CoCo bonds are probably the clearest example of this, they are tailor-made to absorb losses by taking wealth from the depositors. But the yields are high so dumb pension money rolled in

Volatility alert came in for Kirkland Lake Gold. It seem they're planning to buy out Detour Lake mine for 3.7 billy (4.9 billy leaf). The market was not pleased with this and tanked the stock to the tune of 17% today. I have initiated vulture circling mode in wait for buy setup after it bottoms.

Even if future generations cut it down that's a 4 year period of more high schoolers addicted to nicotine then we've seen since the early 90's. Empircally its not going away.

Anecdotally as an unwitting guinea pig who was ground zero during 2016 in colorado which has the highest teen vaping rate, everybody I know juuls, everybody's lungs feel fine, and nobody has been able to quit for 4 years. Indeed they are and that is precisely why they are irrelevant to the question of whether or not MO is a good buy.

Your point about big players being better equipped to navigate (and influence) regulation of a market like vaping is a good one. I think that vaping will be regulated to the point of diminishing the market potential. For past three years MO's share price has been collapsing at a rate which makes the dividend meaningless. I am unconvinced that this is the bottom.

I dunno, I liked menthol cigarettes, but menthol vapes never did it for me. There's a brand of knock off pods I liked, eon smoke. They had more juice in them, higher nicotine concentration and good flavors, but the only thing is the pods are poorly manufactured and leak juice out of the bottom. So like sometimes when you pull the pod out to check how much is left in it and you put it back in the fucking juice is all over the contacts and the fucking thing won't hit. So you gotta get in there and clean it out with a piece of napkin or a q-tip, which is a giant pain in the ass if you're driving or don't have anything like that ready at hand, and you just want to have a nicotine fix. I'll probably go back to those. The blue raspberry flavor was definitely better than the juul mango. I'll probably go back to hitting those.

Do I just buy back in now to at least catch the remaining upside or just wait for the inevitable -50% drop at this point? The yield curve inverted so a recession is inevitable in the next 2 years. Do I put my money back in for a 5%-10% gain and sell immediately before the -50% recession drop starts or is it too risky? I might be getting too greedy since I am already guaranteed to double my money in the next 2 years once the recession starts. Resist the FOMO. You're ruled by your emotions, otherwise you wouldn't have cashed out in February when the media was jumping up and down about a recession.

Don't FOMO in when markets are at all time highs.

All it would take to sink this market would be for an escalation in the trade war. The last 9% ramp up in the S&P is purely because Trump proclaimed there was a Phase 1 deal when there clearly wasn't.

At some point "trade talks going well" isn't going to cut it, and the market is going to want something concrete.

Well do you wait to see if it does or do you buy it now while it's still below 150?. Keep in mind that depending on how many shares you want to buy that extra $50 hike could end up costing you a fuckton more. Yes it could tank, but the way it's moving now, that looks like it ain't gonna happen.

Hi,
I really hope a kind person could guide me a bit. I've been learning trading for about a year. Read some books and had video courses. Practiced all of it on BitMex, mostly xbtusd and sometimes other instruments.
