Considering that my country is about to enter an hyperinflation era?
Seems like a good way to have some emergency income since electricity will be fucking cheap thanks to the inflation getting out of control.

Also btc is already overpriced with 10% arbitrage over international exchanges so cheap electricity and then 10% plus on income if sold as btc.

Anyone knows what type of income we can expect post randomX in monero mining?

I only mined btc for a few minutes in 2011 so no idea really about the dynamics involved but will be willing to learn.

I also mined some btc, ltc and zec. My biggest misstake in crypto I made. I spent over 20K on the ASIC's rigs and will over 2K in electricity bills per month. And then all of the rigs became obsolete.
Now I am staking coins instead that is a much better choice with lower risk.

Do you have access to amd cpus? With free electricity i would do it. IMO monero is undervalued, so mining and holding it will bring you value. Eventually police will be your guest, since they are looking for high wattage households and suspect some hashish operation. Bur since you have hash operation you shpuld be fine. How does Venezuela handle the free energy? Did the forbid mining?

not memezuelan but argentinean, basically in venezuela miners got arrested and asics seized at least the big operations.

To be fair i think that randomX may finally bring down socialism there , when every retard realizes their 10 year old cpu can get them 20 usd per month they will have them working non stop 24/7 since that's 4 minimum wages.

Would not be suprised if their electric grid dies.

Most üeople are sleeping until it goes viral. Mining monero is kinda easy to setup, https://xmrig.com/wizard but people need to wake up first.

What sort of income in usd do you think we will have post randomX in monero?

I may be willing to do the investment , here the retard keynsians in government even have a program to buy in 12 payments with no interest even when we have 50% yearly inflation and we will enter an hyperinflation.

So basically i can buy the hardware at 50% of the cost but not if i am going to earn 3 usd per month kek.

Hat is difficult to say. I think directy after the fork, the mining bot nets will fly off the network. So the profitability will be probably higher than it is now. But dont expect too much, a good rack with 20+ cpus, will give you maybe 5 moneroj per month.
