If it was guaranteed, of course not. But it’s not guaranteed, and it’s a speculative and volatile market where it could go to $0 over night. We had a 30% swing in under a week. Imagine that at an exponential magnification of selloffs. Gotta play to win but sitting in cash at least somewhat is never a bad idea. My savings is divided between crypto, stocks, cash & real estate. The cash is either rainy day money or “fuck yea the markets shit the bed and now bottomed out” money. Really I’m hoping to pick up another house on the cheap in the near future.
