Positioning is extremely important, as well as changes in "open interest". The problem I personally have with what you're showing though is that it doesn't differentiate between larger and smaller speculators. In forex, you have stuff like non-commercial (institutional speculators), commercial (hedge fund speculators) positioning. I assume you coud just check out the CME futures positioning to see that stuff for crypto though.
