>This is the best possible crypto out there when it comes to just being a currency
Except the whole project is a scam. Devs lied about 7000tps when Bitcoin struggled with tps in late 2017. Reality is even today around 300. A global currency for micropayments is minimum 100 000. Nano has no chance. Even if they did manage 100 000 tps, the costs involved for node operators would be astronomic, CPU, IO, bandwith etc. Nano's crazy model is that all these costs must be taken by random volunteers, all the time, for eternity. Working and looking after the network 24/7 including holidays for nothing. That's why Nano is "free". Psycho model that only works when there is no traffic on the network and is run by a bunch of amateur Nano enthusiasts. Nano works only as a kitchen table project. Oh, and the devs are incompetent, pic, and they pushed Nano with Italian scammers. Nano is a scam project.

Oh dear knave, do you really think I am folly enough to fall prey to your trap? How can one count the stars in the sky, when all above is unable to be seen? These "investments", as you all like to call them are gambles. This includes Nano too of course, but the data can be objectified and made resolute with minimal attempt should we try. Therefore, we shall look into the properties that Nano is known to possess, that of being feeless, which is necessary in regards to a microtransaction economy, that of being instant to send (sub 1 second for full confirmation) which is necessary in regards to payments where time is of the essence, that of being fully distributed and non-inflationary, which means those who hold Nano will not be subject to silent taxation practices via devaluation, that of Nano being environmentally friendly which is necessary for full support by all sides, that of Nano being decentralized which is necessary for a cryptocurrency to be a currency, that of Nano being able to handle transaction inputs and TPS only limited by the hardware that hosts the nodes, of which the current TPS is 200-300, with improvements to the protocol only coming to follow, and that of Nano being the only cryptocurrency in existence that solves the trifecta problem; meaning it has established security, decentralization, and speed. Every single other cryptocurrency out there only has 2 of these 3. It has been postulated by the original BTC community that whichever coin can solve this impossible problem, is the true crypto to rule them all.

Is that enough for you, or should I recant and repeat this in smaller words spaced out so that you may understand it? I do not judge, rather I am impressed at how well you speak, with English being your second language.

Right, when people running the whole network for free. Do you have ANY idea what insane amount of money it would take if Nano ever would reach 100 000 TPS? Technically impossible, because this shitcoin can only take 300 TPS despite devs lying about 7000 TPS two years ago.
>that of being instant to send (sub 1 second for full confirmation)
Only with close to zero load on the network. Anything above 300 TPS and Nano starts to crash, delay and go offline.

Nano was pushed by sociopathic devs, lying about 7000 TPS Dec 2017, pic, and Italian scammers at Bitgrail. Due to the incestuous relationship, devs and their friends got 15 million USD out of Bitgrail, as admitted on Nano discord, while normal retail investors were stuck and lost 170 million USD.

VISA is calibrated for 60 000 TPS due to peaks like emergency catastrophe, holidays like Christmas etc. What is Nano's real TPS now? 130 according to last spam test. Or 250 from last summers test? No way in hell can Nano have the tech to be a global micro-payment system. Even if you did, let's say you managed to have the minimum TPS for a global micro-payments system, 100 000 TPS, what would the enormous costs for bandwith, CPU and IO be? Have you crazy Nano fanatics or your scammer devs ever done the cost analysis? Remember that your whole crazy and dysfunctional business model is that all that costs and work must be done by volunteers fro free for all eternity with no downtime ever. Nano is a dead project with sociopathic and borderline criminal devs and a crazy cult-like fanbase. Worst in crypto.

Nano has done zero cost analysis for 100 000 TPS bandwith, CPU and IO. Nano has done nothing to provide how it is feasible for Nano to reach 100 000 TPS within the next years. However, imagining it's possible, you yourself admitted that Amazon and large operators like them will take all the costs and burdens of operating the system. That's a clear and open single point of failure (SPOF) and is the very reason why people choose crypto currencies over banks and centralized payment systems. That Nano is not able to identify a clear and basic SPOF in their system is worrisome on multiple levels.

If i'm not mistaken, you can do a local POW in order to validate the transaction. Meaning, if the network get overloaded, you can solve the POW locally on you local machine, your computer. It takes about 2 minutes in an old 2010 laptop, and a few second with a modern powerful CPU. So no, from what i know, the scenario of a total crash and freeze of the network can't happen, because people would just send their nano solving the POW on their local machines. Okay you can't do this on a weak, old smartphone, but today, everybody, including the third world, has an old dual core laptop. So nobody will be blocked with their coins, unable to spend them.
