How will contracts remain properly collateralized if speculation of LINK is constantly changing the value?

LINK will replace USD 2025

An auto executing smart contract that changes the price required according to the usd value of LINK

ok, and what if the node operator has no more collateral to offer once the smart contract determines he requires more? transaction canceled?

This but unironically
The dollar has been the currency of choice for global oil trading, and now that is slowly being dismantled.
Data is the oil of the 4IR. Data will be values in link, not usd. People will be moving their currencies around, their assets, etc and paying for it in link. At some point they’ll just start using link itself as currency since it will have a value determined globally and therefore superior to using any particular nations currency. It’s true when anons say that the linklets will be the ones that make it the most. 1k link is fud, but what I am describing is a long term scenario in which 10k link becomes fud and 100k is the new eoy target.

It’s literally in the white paper. Once LINK gets adopted, it’ll transition into a stable coin at roughly the price of a cup of coffee.

I don't get why dumblinkers aren't aware of this. Industry partners already hold millions of tokens, this isn't a "for profit" scheme, it's a tool. Buying chainlink is like hording power drills expecting their value to go up.
