is that the latest cope?
craig contacted the ato eager to pay taxes (this is reasonably well documented altho no mention of he tulip trust at the time only a few millions tax returns) on his bitcoins. did he change his tune about being a law abiding tax paying citizen?

>Lifelong history of fraud/making up stories
>On the run from the Australian government
>Doesn't have genesis keys
>Freudian slip where he talks about reading the whitepaper for the first time

A better question is why anyone would think he IS Satoshi. He doesn't have genesis keys, any of the old Satoshi email addresses, the Bitcoin talks account, zero proof. The real Satoshi would prove it by taking two minutes to sign something, but he won't because the real Satoshi has always been and plans to stay, anonymous

and that was in 2010 or 11 i'm not sure i will try look it up when i have time. craig was a gox baby he indeed had some bitcoins there and he filed for tax returns in relation to said (also mostly imaginary) bitcoins.

yeah and even if satoshi signed a message "i'm craig wright btw" craig could still claim satoshi (or some hacker) is fucking with him nobody could prove otherwise. he has made wilder claims in court or in media before so what would stop him from wiggling out? this is all bullshit.
craig can't sign and that is the end of the story.

the reason people demand a public signature is because private signings are meaningless they offer dozens of ways to cheat or just misrepresent facts even if they are shown as valid by tools.

if you have to destroy your signature it's 100% sure you pulled some sneaky bullshit.

"I was going to prove it publicly but, but, it was too scary I couldn't go through with it, I'm sorry. I'm still Satoshi though."

>> No.16289115

>>16289050
yeah no it takes 2 minutes to sign right and proper verifiable by anyone.

the important things to remember:
signature is worthless without the message.
anyone can produce a ""H(m)"" with an R and S for a known public key.
but only the one owning the private key can produce S for R, m.
also with a computer under control of a scammer, he can make you see whatever he wants.
but even if the tools are valid even if the signature checks out it's child's play to run a fake private signing seance.

which is why a signature needs to be public m, r, s. absolutely no excuse to do it any other way.

There's no good evidence to suggest he's not Satoj. You can take him on his word. After all, that's what this whole thing is about: trust. Bitcoin is all about trust.
