I just sent off 4 of my pigs off for butchering, and i feels... pretty good actually after 6 months of work on those adorable bastards.

Here's hoping that I get a good price for them.

I did it and it was probably the best fuck ever, no other fuck compared to how horny and how good the sex with her was.

Sometimes I think if I made the right choice not to answer any of her calls.
Every other girl I fucked after her was way hotter but the sex was way shittier.

you need special "loicences" in my country so you can't JUST sell pigs because of disease control, but saddleback pigs, the ones i had, got them when they were about 5-6 weeks old at the most, reared them for about half a year, the food and nonsense costing about £400-£500, they'll be about 70kg weight at £9.pkg

Eh the prices are always a bit weird with pigs, but it really depends on how you handle it, most people don't really give a shit if there's politicans screaming about the new deadly disease, the markets do, so the trick is to sell to people that actually know their shit and want the product regardless.

disease just adds red tape not market death.

Right well, i am not sure the regulations on pigs earlier but as long as you can get the following.

- some decent shelter
- a wet area for them to roll in
- a dry area for them to sunbathe in
- water
- plants for them to dig at
- an area for them to at

at least 10mx10m per pig area for them to run in and you can effectively keep them

i mean i made the sty myself out some sheet iron and wood, the pigs were "gelties"aka post weining (taking them away from their mothers plus a few weeks)
each pig set me back what, £40 per pig at the time so

£120 intro for the livestock, other costs variable.

But yeah, totally worth it.

The meat you want to keep depends, processing it is a hastle but usually keep half a pig as 1 whole pig can feed a family of 4 for a year (within reason)

as for cows yes, I have 20 Aberdeen angus' Gentle beef cows and started off with only 8.

they usually go for about £1000+ when they go, but are a bigger hassle and risk than pigs.

You’re right, and I’m glad you brought this up because it is actually an argument FOR veganism, not against it… Yes, some animals do die in crop harvesting, but do you realise that about ten times more crops are harvested to feed the 50+ billion land animals we raise for food every year than if we were just harvesting food for the 7 billion humans?”

Do you actually care about animals lives or are you just trying to justify your current lifestyle? While there will be casualties in crop harvesting, and of course we would all prefer there were not, going vegan is still the least harmful thing we can do.

The real trick is to pre-sell the animal to consumers who desire an organic local product. This protects you from market swings. Then you feed them food scraps and let them forage to keep costs down.

>> No.16286599

>>16286510
Nononononno.

here's a lil maths.

The pigs and all their feed cost and the like
£500 to be harsh on my wallet.

The pigs themselves at meat.
£7 (being harsh again they should be going for at least 9 or 10) per kilogram on the pig.

The pigs usually go (mine anyway) about 60-80kg range) so take away 10kg for cleaning and the like. 70kg.

so (70x7)x4

70x7 = £490
490x4 = £1960

1960 - the 500 work cost. should leave me a cool £1160 profit. Hopefully. at least.

Quite the opposite actually. Over 50 billion land animals are raised for food each year. This phenomenal quantity of animals uses far more land, water and crops to house and feed them than it would to just feed us 7 billion humans directly from the same crops. Animal agriculture is what is unsustainable, and it’s causing all kinds of pollution as a result of the manure and the greenhouse gases released, which is more harmful than all transport pollution combined.
