this is the problem with TA (the drawing gay lines type of TA). It's so subjective. There are so many ways to determine where the lines go. There are so many ways to interpret what the lines mean. You constantly have to redraw the lines when they get broken but not broken enough to violate the trend from your previous lines.

That's why I like indicators and algorithms. They spit out an unambiguous yes or no answer or provide a probability. You can quantify how efficient they are by backtesting. They also give you a clear warning when trades aren't going your way.

also, there are so many modern tools out there to analyze what positions people are taking and the size and amount of risk of those positions. Using traditional TA is like bringing a knife a to a gun fight. Especially with crypto. Whales have such a huge influence on price action. I don't TA, but what I don't get about all you TA fags is that, you sound so confident, yet, you can't be that sure of what's going to happen because if you really were that good at TA you could just keep using it in leveraged trade after trade and you'd be billionaires in a few months/years.
Thus the only logical conclusion is that TA is larpy bullshit.
What's the flaw in my logic?

Leveraged traders can get anally raped by liquidation hunters or random price movements. I never use leverage for that reason.

TA traders (myself) make money by being right more often than being wrong and setting stop losses. Then there are also TA periods (now) where the future price movement is all but obvious and money is guaranteed.
