Is it normal to be dying of boredom at your wagecuck job and telling yourself that you'll work hard on those side projects and take advantage of your large amount of free time when you get home and feeling smug because you're so much better than all the sheeple around you but then later procrastinating by eating junk food (as comfort food) and browsing the internet mindlessly, telling yourself that your real life starts tomorrow, and this goes on for hundreds of days in a row with the false confidence becoming a daily occurrence?

I feel smug cause most of the evenings I actually WORK on getting myself out of wageslavery

You're a weak willed piece of shit. The good thing is that you can fix yourself.

Yes. All jobs are suicide tier unless your job is what you would do in your free time.

The thing is that without work you would do the same thing. Don't think that work prevents you to spend time on your projects, only you do. I wasted 3 years as a NEET thinking:
>"Ok, today I will go to bed in time and tomorrow I will wake up early go for a run and then start working on my projects, plan everything and slowly start them!"
Then you just mindlessly procrastinating and woke in the afternoon again. I did that almost every day trying to break out of this loop and only recently started to actually sitting down and thinking about my future.

Just accept that no one cares about your future, it's only up to you to change your things. And don't try to rush it, know yourself first... It's possible that since you don't know exactly how to start your projects, your fear of failure prevents you to even start them. Believe me, the only thing you need to fear is staying where you are right now. Even failure is better than just daydreaming, in fact failure will be your guidance on how to develop your projects.

You cant develop your own "projects" when you are wagecucking all day.

I have managed to make some money on the internet, I can guarantee you I would never have made it if I was wagecuck, since I would be too tired from the commuting + actual cucking.

Alright, I agree that wagecucking sucks the life out of you. I'm just saying that it's easy to stuck with procrastinating even after you quit. Just another trap that OP should look out even if his job won't be a problem anymore.

What I do in my free time:
> Watch TV
> Play videogames
> Masturbate
> Smoke weed
> Workout

Find me that job and I'll do it for minimum wage.

I feel your pain anon. Its up to us to change that though. I feel as if I need a wake up call or just that push to get me to do something with my life. Plus the fact that I don't know what I want to do with myself or my life.

If I weren't working, I'd be making music/practicing/studying for school. Just because you lack any self-motivation/passion doesn't mean everyone lacks it.

Speaking of which, anyone know any certifications or anything to get work from home jobs, part-time, or full-time jobs with a lot of free-time to study/watch anime that pay decently well?

All I see on indeed/craigslist are customer service/minimum wage jobs.

I wouldn't really call it normal, but it happens. Typically 2 kinds of people feel that way about their job: 30 somethings entering a midlife crisis, or people who realize being a cuck sucks and want better. The people who stick to their lousy jobs and never show any higher ambitions than watching the latest show on tv, getting laid/drunk/high, or vegging out endlessly on videogames are losers IMO.

Those who want more out of life than the 9-5 grind will either do whatever it takes to succeed, or accept their failure and become a loser.

You choose which one you want to be.

I used to feel this way. I'm still trying to get out of it (sometimes), but I've been pushing to get out of it for a couple of years. Your results may vary.

What helped me a lot was starting to listen to audiobooks. Not all of can or will be helpful to you, but if you have a lot of time to spare (as you say), listen to them. I did it on the way to and from work, while walking the dog, and when I did my mindless chores (dishes, vacuum, whatever). Now I do it from the comfort of my new job, which I get paid roughly twice what I made at my last job a year ago, and 3 times what I made 5 years ago. I'm no living paycheck to paycheck, I've gone from living with 2 roommates and my family to supporting my family without the need for my wife to work, eating way healthier, living way healthier, actually hanging out with my family instead of just working then coming home and locking myself away with video games. This is my small time to myself and here I am trying to help some anon from across the internet.

If you're interested, here's some of the audio books that I've listened to:
-Most Brian Tracy audio productions
-168 Hours - You Have More Time Than You Think
-The Road to Character
-Mindset, the New Psychology of Success
-The $100 Startup
-Smarter Than You Think
-Creativity, Inc.

-Get It Done

I take some of the things to heart, and I've noticed in a lot of reading (listening? Whatever), that there are repeating patterns/elements to success, motivation, discipline.

I'm not gonna tell you to get off your lazy ass, only you can tell yourself that and keep yourself off of it. It's not easy, it's not a short process, but it is definitely worth it living a fuller life.

IT Certs. Microsoft Certs (MCSA, MCSE), anything for Linux, maybe Infrastructure (any Cisco, Brocade, whatever), you find the right job, it's automate everything, have everything self-correct/warn you before it fails, then sit back and read a magazine. Source: Did IT for 7 years.
