however LP shares are shares in their company and not necessarily the link token itself

the amount of shares you hold will allow you to stake more chainlink intially during the rollout (they said that linkpool share holders will have priority initially when staking goes live)
however eventually linkpool will serve as a hub for all kinds of pools and not just limited to chainlink and won't have the initial restriction of requiring stakersto also be linkpool share holders

Okay this is starting to make sense. That's awesome didn't know the team was working on solutions like this for pooling other assets. Last few set of questions hopefully, forgive the Reddit spacing.

I don't need to run any of the functions from the medium post myself through a node correct? This is just technical explanation of how the LP pools work on the back end correct? For my purposes all staking and rewards handling (transferring x tokens from y to wallet z etc) is done through website UI?

And does team have a rough estimate of when staking goes live or is this the stuff of NDAs?
