I'm not an expert but I don't think big money is interested in shorting Bitcoin on bakkt with large size. It's physically settled and the float of bitcoin is very low, that means shorts can easily get squeezed and at a certain point there isn't enough Bitcoin available in the market to buy back and cover the position. Most coins are hodled outside of exchanges or lost.
