the thing you newfags never get is that if it does fail or seems about to, where will all the people exiting tether go? Into cryptos, there's nowhere else. There's no banking exit to USD. BTC and all the larger coins will skyrocket as people panic exit tether and hope they can get into ANYTHING else.

Thats the top to catch, when it's time to gtfo into usdc or USD for a while. 4 billion exiting will be explosive. Or, it might just never happen and tether is legitimized or moves into gemini, coinbase, and circle banker-banked stablecoins. Seems like Bobo gets fucked either way

The harsh blackpill is that the tether ponzi will continue indefinitely until crypto becomes so large that eventually tether has no effect and the owners fade into the background quietly, taking their profits with them.
Trying to predict or time a tether crash is extremely foolhardy and I say this as someone who got into the tether fud very early. There is nothing the law can do. Even if they do manage to expose that they are frauds, most of crypto doesn't care. It's already priced in. Whales buying tether OTC openly admit that most of it isn't backed. It's a clown world and you'd be better off accepting it.

you have fucking autism if you think most of the liquidity disappearing from the crypto market will somehow be bullish. Non retards have explained the reality to you a billion fucking times but you’re too much of an incel subhuman mouthbreather to come to terms with the reality in advance, so you’ll be forced to once you’ve lost everything

Let me tell you what will happen, for the millionth time.

First, tether holders will rush for the exits into bitcoin. Bitcoin will pump a bit

Quickly, btc holders will realize tether is worthless and stop selling for tether

Finally, tether holders will just be stuck with worthless bags and 4 billion dollars of wealth, and most of the source of liquidity, will evaporate from the market instantaneously

Realizing they no longer have any liquidity to immediately cash out holders will rush for fiat gateway exits, but those too will get jammed. The price of btc will plummet along with most alts.

Most exchanges and major crypto investors will go under. Including kraken, poloniex, bitmex and ofc bitfinex.

80% of bitcoin's volume is in tether
So much of the money coming into bitcoin, the money used to buy bitcoin, is tether internet funny money given to whales by the tether mint so they can get into crypto
When tether falls, the demand for bitcoin will slump, not to mention people will panic big time, and the price will drop, and all alts will get rekt too

This is true but the problem is WHAT will trigger it? Even as a former believer in tether crashing, I had no answer to this. Do you really think some court order means anything? Especially to whales (the one providing liquidity and controlling tether) who ALREADY know tether is pretty much worthless and still don't care. Tether will continue to pump BTC until institutions take over all of the liquidity, by which point tether will become irrelevant.

If it hasn't crashed by now, I really wouldn't bet on it.

Even *if* this is the case, you still have no answer to my original post.

Do you understand how long something like that could take? It could take up to 3-4 years, at which point institutions will have taken over all BTC liquidity. They're beginning to slowly jump in now, just imagine what the future holds. Crypto moves really fast.
A real tether crash has about a year or so at best to happen. After that, tether will simply become irrelevant. At the end of the day, the whales know tether is insolvent and still don't care. They still keep buying regardless.
