Tether is going to implode and is based on the dollar anyway, so if it doesn't implode under the weight of it's own fraud, the dollar will take it down when it goes. There are only two decentralized stablecoins of note, and here is why RSR is a better play.

Tether is used and trusted by people from traditional finance who create things like crypto hedge funds and market making operations to the tune of hundreds of millions if not billions of dollars because they can't bank with traditional banks. But I'm going to trust a bunch of tin foil hats who claim it's fraudulent while at the same time shilling a project with nothing going for it besides being able to name drop a few famous investors who have invested .000001% of their money. Obviously they are still in very early stages and the idea is great but the execution of Reserve has been horrible so far. Only 10k Reserve dollars in circulation and a failed launch retroactively called a stealth launch.
