If bitcoin lives, which it very much seems like it might, it should at the very least stabilize as a kind of digital gold. This would put 1 BTC maybe somewhere in the 200k to 1m value range. There might even still be dollars to compare it too in this scenario. If we get BTC as the underlying collateral upon which we eventually layer our entire monetary system it might be possible to see the 10m purchasing power per BTC mentioned by an anon earlier in the thread. Or maybe something else could happen that would put the valuation somewhere between those extremes. A lot of retirees have a million+ in the US. There are hundreds of thousands of people with 10 mil+.

These people could buy at 100k. BUT, only if they can buy through their 401k (via a fund directly investing) or in their brokerage account.

Obviously 100k isn't the type of money they take lightly, so even if it's 1-10% of their portfolio, they will want in some place that they know and that's insured by Lloyd's of London, aka Fidelity, Schwab, Goldman, etc.
