I worked at one for peak season a few years ago. 6 10 hour shifts a week, but the money was really good. Do that for a while, grind that mad cash, and actually start investing and saving. It's gonna suck in the short term if your not used to 10 hours of walking, but after you get the hang of the mind numbing silence, it's pretty decent money

I was a picker at the Indiana location, and it was just jamming around a warehouse digging through boxes, finding what you need, scanning it, throwing it in a box,and then eventually sending that box down a conveyor belt. The hardest part of that job was going up and down floors over and over. Sometimes you'd fill an order on the first floor, and then have to turn that in and go to the 5th floor, and then one item later turn that in and go to the 2nd floor, and 2 items later go back to the 5th.

As long as you walk really fast and can walk for 10 hours a day and still function, the picker job is very manageable. And they have vending machines with ibuprofen so you don't even get too sore during the day.

I can't vouch for any other job position, but a picker job is great short term work. Plus you get to see a bunch of cool stuff you can order or for gift ideas

I think as a regular Amazon employee they cap you at 40. I was apart of something they called the camper force, something they started up for peak season specifically. I was working 59.5 hours a week, and they would kick us down a 50$ Visa gift card at the end of each week on top of that for not hitting 60.
