I agree my man, in todays society we are being shut off from our natural sources of amphetamines that we had during the evolution of our species.

Unironically though having good nutritional intake is only half of the picture. The reason people feel shit is really mostly that their life and habits are bad. And of course people look for something to blame, and an easy way out. I for one know introspection and creating good habits is hard.

That's my experience with these kinds of advices. I just generally think we live in quite a difficult society. Like things are quite bad. We have too much stuff to do and we get so little. I don't feel too bad about it.

That's understandable, for me it helped but i have a pretty low fat diet and i suspect it was detrimental to my brain function. Maybe it is just placebo. Either way i have more energy these days.

reminds me of Hegel

nah i know

the human capablities for delusion are gigantic, so i argue we shouldn't take drugs that increase this risk

i have suspicion drugs only make us unaware of our flaws

Why does no one talk about iodine? Yeah vitamin D and fish oil have some minor effects me, like never feeling tired for no reason.
But iodine makes my sex drive normal and always keeps me thinking straight. Hardly any brain fog.
I literally feel a difference every time i start and stop it.

Same with me. The only difference I've ever noticed was taking St. John's Wort. But that was in 2017 around the bull run, so it may have just been the small sliver of optimism that made me feel something. Trying it again now actually.
