Playing WoW was the happiest period of my life. It was when i had the most friends and lowest stress.

I've got a few businesses in the commencement phase and i've put a load of money into crypto that will allow me to quit work and study.

Basically my motivation is simply to make it so i can play WoW again and enjoy the good old days.

>is my logic flawed

Yes. No matter how successful you become, no matter how many zeroes you add to your bank account, you will never recapture that feeling of rapturous, innocent wonder you had when you were younger. Why do you think actual billionaires are so stingy with their time? Its the one thing you cant buy back or get more of

Playing Warcraft III custom games was the happiest period of my life.

Angel arenas, tank wars, Uther parties, protect the girl, the massive amount of TDs (counterstrike TD, element TD, X TD, etc.), Protect the Girl, Vampirism, battleships, DotA when it was still new, X Hero Siege, Enfo's....

I could go on and on.
Spent like a decade of my life playing this shit for almost 8 hours daily, like a full time job.
If I could go back, I'd do it again, and just mine bitcoin while I was doing it instead of torrenting anime most of which I never watched.

WoW was my second child hood since my actual child hood got ruined. But once you turn 20 or at the most 25; you have a dire future ahead of you if you are playing this game any longer than 2-3 hours a week. You won't ever go back to the good old days, and every hour you put into WoW is a hour lost in productivity and chances to advance yourself in life in business and career. There are a lot of meaningful and fun ways to spend your time on, WoW is not one of them.

Focus on business, go back to studying either by yourself or academy you fool.

I felt the same way, but when I actually got to play, that euphoric nostalgia feeling faded out relatively fast, I got bored and stopped playing.

Thanks for this. I remember how much fun I had playing wc3 custom maps. I even got into coding by creating custom maps of my own. We are gonna make it.

I still love it, but without playing at least 4 hours it feels unfulfilling, and every minute i spend on it instead of studying makes me feel guilty.
I will probably still play it, but it isn't as good as it used to be anymore, and I don't even know what to fill the gap with.

I would consider staking Algo - it's one of those easy to stake crypto that have insane returns. Aside from that, Algorand is a serious contender in the crypto space. Easy side-income. I wanna play WoW as well

I get a lot of that nostalgia playing wow classic. It forces you to communicate with fellow players, to actually stick with the same group of guys when you do dungeons etc. It really is a nice community game I love it.

You are delusional

I felt the same way with runescape 2005-2007

My sense of flow and immersion in that game was surreal

I tried sex, drugs etc in my later years

Nothing came close to RS golden years

But when you grow up you realise it wasn't only the game that changed

You are no longer youthful and care free. You are desensitised to everything because of the internet, and a broken shell because of work and adult life

You can't recreate youth

I think as we age society takes the child away from us. If you've got 100% free time then you're literally care free and as youthful as you choose to be.
