Lmao how about a "payday" crypto loan company that uses smart contracts to ensure payment and identity. Yes there are a fuckton of those, but seriously thats better then gravelcoin lmaoooo. I made that one up sitting on the toilet at work actually btw

Wow another crypto loan company that issues a worthless token you may be able to get a discounted rate if you have it. I thought we were moving away of tokenisation?

Imagine you have the monopoly in the shovel business during the goldrush and bunch of faggots show up, some want to dig in gravel, some want to dig in sand, some want to dig on a mountain, some underground to find gold.
it doesnt matter how successful the faggots are and if they find gold or not. the shovel business always profits and the startups who actually succeed attract more faggots who will want to try searching gold.
chainlink is that monopoly shovel business.

Yep we are, and you are right on every single point you made. I didnt say it was a good idea, I just said it was a better idea then any of these "startups"

If it's such a good idea why isn't salt and friends doing better?

>> No.16067578

>>16067557
Because it's a shit idea, its absolute terrible with no need for crypto involvment at all. But it's still a better idea then selling gravel using smart contracts

Even worthless boomer rocks are another part of chainlink

Your right, but that brings us back to the original discussion which is that these startups were low impact and could have been more well thought out and funded better. Just because boomer rocks can be a part of chainlink do we really need a startup to highlight it? Thats as if apple made the iphone and then tried to contract it out to the military as a portable battery first. Like sure, it could be a portable battery, but you could also just realize it's a lot more useful as a phone and try selling it to the public instead.

Because no one has done this before at the enterprise level. A lot of this stuff is still rnd and oracle dont seem totally convinced it is the future but they hedge their bets regardless. If Frenando had trouble convincing oracle about chain link it's probably because he went in their with memes and shill quotes and said things like "my fellow marines and I..."
