This is unironically huge the more I think about it. Oracle is basically testing the Chainlink concept at the moment. However instead of having an expensive innovation lab, they are letting multiple start ups run the chainlink network and seeing if any of their business models succeed. The start ups which do succeed basically Prove the Concept that Chainlink can be used by enterprises and if a real need is found for it then Oracle will buy up the start ups and offer it to their customers. Look at some of the companies and what they are trying to achieve. A number of them are basically Chainlink integrators, smart contract writers using the network to offer a service writing smart contracts. Chainlink now has companies working to try and run the Chainlink network and he's not paying them a dime (unless the 700k dumps were for a reason).

How did it get to this?
A 4chan meme is now worth $1,000,000,000 USD.

Chainlink competitors (oracles):
https://bandprotocol.com/ ~ marketcap $4.4 million: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/band-protocol/
https://mobius.network/; ~ marketcap $3.2M: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/mobius/

Chainlink has limited to no revenue to date.

Investors are currently paying a 300x (30,000%) premium over competitors.
Generally, for a company that has monopolized it's industry, the risk ratio is justified, yet in this peculiar instance
investors are paying a massive premium for a company that no established marketshare with less than <100 active customers.

It's biggest claim to fame: "Swift Partnership on the horizon"... Never became a reality.
The shills constantly talked about Swift and how much token appreciation it would bring to the project.... well Swift is now developing their own oracle and the shills have gone quite on this.
https://www.reddit.com/r/LINKTrader/comments/9r8l5n/so_what_happened_to_swift_partnership_chainlink/

The shills have moved on to EOY $1000 claims with no substance.
A $1000 LINK price would equate to a market cap of $349,783,945,220 ($349 billion USD) a feat not even Bitcoin has achieved and would put it's value close to JP Mogan Chase, one of the world's largest banks
with over 250,000 employees. Chainlink has two core employees, the rest are office shufflers.
The biggest thing to happen to LINK has been, wait for it.. A Google Cloud blog post.

colorsdontlie: "News outlet and journalists keep reporting on "partnerships" with Google and Swift. But if you actually read the source for the
"partnership", it's just a blog post by Google Cloud that promotes their own service (BigQuery) and shows an example about how Chainlink users
can use Google Cloud if they want. In no way is Google partnered or planning on using Chainlink themselves..">>16061580

"The project offers a great opportunity to hold the token and get an interesting discount on the product's purchase. Later on we will include the production of concrete and asphalt."

"With this project we are commited with the communities surrounding the mining sites to deliver not only gravel for civil construction, roads and railways, but also shelter, dignity and free move."

Here's my objective quick research and assessments of the US based companies. I'll do the rest later if you guys want. Will probably do a deeper dive when I get the time. Also happy for anyone else to pick up the work where I left off. Keep in mind the general rule for investment is you want 1/10 companies to succeed largely:

MaxCentive - Founder is Neeraj Satija, CEO of Concordus & co-chair of CompTia Blockchain Advisory Council. Indian, smart guy, founded this comnpany before considering blockchain & realized blockchain is the most useful way to solve it. Former experience at large companies building tech products, he is a systems architect. Good chance at success

AtCash - Founder has had a few senior roles at financial institutions in the UAE. Had a previous failed startup. Medium chance at success if she can leverage connections.

BluField - Jabroni website. CEO has no real experience. Probably will fail hard.

Credits - Scammy blockchain project, surprised Oracle actually allowed them through. Probably will fail hard.

Crowdz - Very well funded from actual VCs (Barclays backed their Series A which raised $5.5MM). Chief strategist was a former White House economist. CEO is a professor in supply chain and worked for 18 years at Cisco. Very well connected, pretty solid chance at success given the use case, team & backing.

WorldLaw - The website is absurd looking & still has a lot of placeholder copy. CEO is a big LINK fanboi. Github activity is barren. Hard to get a great read but based on what I see, likely not going to /makeit/.

Yeah sorry, I'm out. First they couldn't even get 50. But that's beside the point. Just look at the list, it's a bunch of nobodies. Half of which look like basement dwellers creating their crypto webpage a few weeks ago. Find me ONE legit company on that list. There is none. It's a bunch of crypto nobodies serving as references for each-other with no tangible product or service. I'm out, this is pure hype that's got nothing to do with the real world.

Tl;Dr this is good for Chainlink

Biz acting like idiots and missing the point/big picture as usual. The entire purpose of the Oracle for Startups department, regardless of Chainlink, is for Oracle as a company to get small startups under their wings that can bring value to their own services and products offerings; in this case: bringing in a wide variety of enterprise data, so the enterprise end users of the Oracle blockchain (Hyperledger for boomers) can start implementing and adopting smart contracts in their respective fields, even if very minor and boomer. Ie, this Oracle project was never about bringing in the big bucks like derivatives and insurance, HOWEVER, keep in mind that what this means is in the ecosystem, these startups are not end users, the end users will be the thousands of enterprises that will be adopting the Oracle blockchain. This is how Oracle will be selling its blockchain services to its customer base: we have this hyper ledger chain, we have simple pre-made templates for smart contracts, and it's all easily plug and play. You're some small construction company, and you need grovel data or whatever, then just click on grovel smart contract template and grovel data here, and it'll all be done for you, and with every click, chainlink will be used in the backend. Oracle will be handling the selling and marketing of these data types to their customers. Literally zero effort and implication from Chainlink. Now apply this to all the small but numerous companies that will be using Oracle's platform. If only 1 out of the 50 proves to be useful then it's still a win for Oracle because it brings more business to their platform. Additionally, this further cements Chainlink as an enterprise standard, and what you're also missing is if Oracle is doing this type of thing, then their cloud BaaS competitors like MS and AWS blockchains will also have to implement similar solutions.

I also remember some anon posting here claiming to work for Oracle saying that the higher ups had lost date in Fernando because he had failed to find 50 startups, and a big reason for this is because of the community.

Basically, we got to stop the FUD and the bad words or else we are going to destroy our own investment.

So I started to browse the webpages of the start ups. I went with US companies first and just clicked on MaxCentive. Alright, so half the links don't work on their page, a lot just redirect you to the top of the home page, and its relatively vague in description of services. 2017 Trademark so operating at least 2-3 years. If you scroll down from the home page, about half way, it says MaxCentive Features, with some weird text in Latin I translated. Idk what Satanic kike shit (((they're))) up wtf this is weird right. I'm so hyped. People can't wrap their heads around Chainlink. I remember creating a gif animation in 1996 in highschool for theses other dudes website. They said no one will be able to see it, takes too long to load. I said do you think it will always be like that? My dad didn't think internet shopping would become popular because images took a long time to load. I ran home to tell my dad to buy Netflix stock ($20 at the time) when they announced they would add the Netflix app to all XBOXs. He didn't think people would be able to stream video. People are so stupid and Chainlink is so revolutionary people can't cram it into their worldview. People like some CT traders try to compare it to all the other crypto they've been flipping for years based on charts. "Muh marketcap" is a disease. Chainlink is a data and payment facilitator blockchain technology. It will be huge.
