Wave One — Holo Organization Internal Testing. This wave is the biggest hurdle, because it tests all layers of the system running in live environments. It begins with Holo developers running the Holo Network on virtual machines and a handful of HoloPort devices. The wave will end with a minimum of 50 nodes gossiping in different network environments and full end-to-end tests. This wave further tests our: 1) user interfaces; 2) documentation for non-technical users; and 3) gossiping, routing, SSL certs, web proxies, and network coordination on virtual machines across many network topologies.

Wave Two — Rollout to outside development partners. This wave gets us feedback from outside technical users and business partners on how the process works for people with less familiarity than those inside our company. It will also take the scale of the network to about 100 nodes.

Wave Three — Purchasers of Indiegogo Alpha Test Package. We will enter this wave when the Holo Network can scale to 500 nodes. This wave will test our customer support processes for non-technical users. Apps in this wave will include Chat and Personas.

HoloPorts Shipment and Testing. This requires HoloPort detection from a phone, tablet, or other device on your local network, as well as an easy web UI for set-up, administration, and access to all your hosting-related apps. This is what thousands of people are waiting for, when people will bring their HoloPorts online to run a full-scale test network with hosts in 65+ different countries and at least 2,500 physical nodes.

Following the shipment of HoloPorts, our dev teams will be supporting testing at scale and continuing development towards the beginning of an Open Alpha Testnet with many additional features. We expect this network to jump to 5,000+ devices.
