EDGE is clearly an undervalued player in the market, been accumulating slowly together with NKN. They have lots of adoption already, they just need some publicity to take off. Node payouts and buybacks are already keeping the price stable and some more adoption will put it on a nice upward trajectory even without publicity.

edge is focused on multiple markets right now: mainly edge hosting + edge storage, but compute is also coming later. For a rough overview how it works: https://edge.network/en/architecture/.. Basically stargates employ a consesus check on each other and hosts need to perform regular proof of work checks to verify that they are delivering correct results.

Hard to say, I would need to see a like for like comparison of both first. All I know is the websites hosting on EDGE are pretty fast, smooth and feel dynamic (e.g. check ecohustler.com)

Also to mention, they are building their own CMS solution since 2013 already, which they have re-launched on edit.com (pretty awesome domain if you ask me). On this they have over 200 big established customers (mostly medium-large publishing websites), which they in the process of migrating over to the edge network.
