One of my former bosses at a software company I worked for used to play poker for a living. After college he moved to Costa Rica and played online poker for about 5-6 years. He made a killing, but started to get bored and moved back to the US. It wasn't even 3 years and he had already climbed the corporate ladder to VP position at that company. No joke or larp, he's actually one of the smartest men I've ever met.

That's not an anomaly.

I play live poker a lot as a hobby, i've been fortunate to meet a lot of people over the years who were very good +ev players.
Nearly all of them were making more money from something else.
If you're good enough to consistently crush the table then you're definitely good enough to make a killing in a ton of other positions.

Depends on ur living costs, many eastern yuros make a living of grinding oit 1-2k at micros. Start studying, or best of all, get a coaching (altho hard to find legit ones). Days of just nitting it up and killing it at 200nl are over tho, but there is money to be made.
