The pay is horrible unless you’re extremely talented, in a large city, and even then you won’t get compensated much. You’ll still have to pay taxes on your income as well. At least you’ll be in a lower tax bracket. The crooked ones do somewhat better financially though, which it sounds like you want to be. Also, no one really respects ministers anymore except people in their own church. This isn’t 1919 anon, it’s 2019 and society is largely irreligious.
