Yikes. Why not just buy and hold?

Do you watch what's happening on other exchanges, while trading, and if so, what prices do you compare (ie, mark or index on bitmex) to others? If not, do you monitor any other correlations to help with trading decisions?

How'd you get funding? I've got a bot that's profitable that I've been running for about 5 months with maybe 30k and the strategies are scalable. I am thinking another 5 months and people might take me seriously, any advice? I have no idea where to start.

why not both?

>>15987365
the differences in price across exchanges shifts day to day, i like to have confluence in more than one thing im looking at to take a trade, and i dont use indicators

Position sizes?
Timeframes that you trade?
How do you determine entry/exit/stops?
Did your shop teach you a method, do you still use it?
What are requirements in order to keep your job?
What are requirements to advance (access to more funding, higher commissions)?
Current outlook on BTC?

i guess you could approach a prop/algo/quant or whatever fund and see if theyre interested? Im in london myself

>>15987616
from 15m to 4h, i trade what I see and what can be done so in the right spots. My job description is high probability discretionary trading, so i dont just try and take a gamble and 50x myself.
I trade based on price action, and what that tells me with risk reward will define the size I trade.
I have a one day notice period if they believe i no longer possess the capabilities to perform my job description. A bad day/week or even month wont necessarily get me fired though, these things happen. its more negligence thats the issue.
I have targets that if i hit i get additional funding

>> No.15987730

you probably noticed i didnt give you my position sizing. im not gonna lie on a korean automotive forum and pretend to be a whale.
The truth is i didnt know much about trading before i started, just passed some tests and was offered. they showed me a few things but mostly ive been left to my own devices. We started on a fraction of a coin, which i have traded up to just under 1 coin at this moment

i went to uni before this, but its not a set requirement like it would be for a bank, the funding is at their discretion, it comes down to how im trading.
